Mykola Tomenko is convinced that the Cooperation between Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine with the Regional Councils could consolidate Ukraine
The Vice-Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine declared it on Tuesday during the working meeting with the Chairmen of Regional Councils.
M. Tomenko stated that today paradox of the system of the self-governing bodies reveals itself in the fact that the Chairmen of the Regional Administrations pay the main attention to the party work. In particular M. Tomenko deems that Council of Regions in the Government and Association of the Regions in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine it is only two institutions that should have the authority to strictly control the adoption of the effective decisions that take the regional interests in the consideration.
The Vice-Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine declared that the Parliament is ready to uphold the adoption of the Law on Association in its entirety that was adopted in the first reading.
"The system cooperation between the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and the Chairmen of the Regional Councils should be arranged in order to solve the problems effectively"
